CORE-BOND™ String Sets
Black Diamond Strings® CORE-BOND™ Technology increases a string’s tone life by eliminating the chance of core-to-wrap slippage. As a string is tuned to pitch and vibrates during use, the core wire will stretch slightly allowing movement of the outside wrap wire to slip. Over time, this will cause the coupling to become compromised and therefore the string effectively starts going dead.
The CORE-BOND™ activation phase is to submerge the string in our proprietary treatment bath that activates the inner bond to the core with the wrap wire.
With CORE-BOND™ Technology, guitarists benefit from increased string life. The strings will stay fresher for longer without any loss in tone quality over time – ensuring reliable performance with every strum!

Guitar core bond strings
Want to give a big shout out to Greg Sfarzo for introducing me to the Black Diamond family and these amazing strings. They sound better and last much longer than any string I’ve ever used. They even have a certain feel and they are the only strings I will forever use for all my guitars. Thanks to all responsible for these incredible strings. I highly recommend if you wanna rock you’ll wanna have these in your stock…..??

Core bond strings
By far the best strings I’ve ever played. All my guitars have these on them. I can pull any guitar out of its case and amazingly it’s still in tune. The only strings I will ever use. You must try them!
